The funniest application

I had a great laugh this morning when i received an email from a woman who wanted to audition for the role of Karyn. She added at the end of her email that if Karyn were already cast, she'd be willing to take a non-speaking role...

So, everybody, i know how crazy life is, and how hyper busy we all are. I work from 7am till 1am pretty much non stop these days, juggling my wonderful day job (i am not being sarcastic), and the movie. But i appreciate when people spend just 5 minutes on the site before sending in their application so they understand a little bit what this is about. I have personally never heard of a non-speaking part for an actor in an animation! What is it? Animal sounds? Heavy breathing?

I also receive emails from people who obviously don't know about the project much, or generic emails. This is why, from time to time, when i receive an email actually written for me, it makes me very happy. I got to one yesterday and it really made my day. This woman actually spent time browsing around the site, understood the characters and where she could fit. Another young woman came a couple of days for an audition and obviously thought about the role and worked through the information  available here. Very nice! Professional. I spend a lot of time on this site and responding to everybody personally, so i appreciate when the favor is returned.

Laurent, That was a very funny blog. I laughed out loud! This project will be fantastic. I truly believe that. I have more ideas about the marketing of the project whether I am cast in a role or not. Big money comes from big ideas. I am in the process of metting with some heavy hitters next week and may try to slip this project in if the situation seems to flow that way. All the Best, Ray Bendana
