Hello all,

It's been a long time since i spent time on the site at all... As you all know, i worked quite hard in September and October to get two cuts of the film. First, i did a more expansive work cut clocking at 75mn. Then, for  my animator/editor/distributor/partner,  i pulled in a 60mn cut which will hopefully be the final  "product". My God! I can't believe i have been working on this for over 4 years now (i started on Halloween 2003) and that it will be a product soon. When are you asking? Well... Not quite sure yet. Nick is working hard on the final touches, and it would be nice if the movie came out right for St Valentine's... After all, Time Flies is about a love story that started on a Halloween night, and started unraveling on St Valentine's.

In the meantime, i have been very busy with my day work and not able to do much else. Add in Thanksgiving and needed time with my family, and the film is starting to slowly fade away to the back of my head... I have even started writing my second story, a follow-up to Time Flies. Oh, you didn't know? Time Flies is just part 1. In any case, i figured that some of you might be interested in seeing some early footage.. So here it is: click here for the full "work cut" for the opening of the film. You need Adobe Flash to play this. I hope you enjoy it, the music, the voices, and all of it!

Other than that, i have been invited to a film networking event here in Manhattan this coming Thursday. I'll have a mini stand where i can talk about Time Flies. It should be fun. Here is the information.

Description

So at the request of numerous film makers I've done casting for, Small Pond is throwing a party geared towards film companies. In fact we are teaming up with a company shooting a tv pilot to make this a big event and raise funds to support the current small pond season as well as the budget of a new tv series!!! We are getting folks who are doing casting for upcoming films as well as companies looking to hire etc. and putting them all in a room for you to meet and drop off headshots business cards etc. We will also be collecting coats for the homeless since it will begin getting cold soon.

The event will take place at Triple Crown Bar and Grill 330 7th avenue between 28th and 29th street.

Admission is $15, but if you bring a coat, it's only $10!!!!

There will be drink specials and as always the Small Pond headshot bin will be there. We'll also be giving away some nifty new Small Pond t-shirts and you never know what else we'll have on hand.

Hope to see you there!!!!!
