Josie in Church

Josie was born in a strict Italian family and only moved to New York from Italy when she was 10. She was raised in the Catholic faith, but after many years in the NYPD, has lost her religion. But old habits die hard and she has retained a connection with the Church and often goes to her favorite one in New York, St Thomas Church, during off hours, to think, and listen to the wonderful Organ there that is played regularly.

Here, she goes there after feeling completely lost about the case. Everyone around her thinks the case is closed after the murderer is discovered, but something keeps on bugging her as she simply doesn't believe the conclusion of the case. She is sitting on the front row when she hears the Organ starting to play and turns her head to look back (the Organ is in the back of the Church), and suddenly, as if my miracle, some divine inspiration, her brain clicks. She starts visualizing elements of the case and decides to go back to Takashi's room.

Even if you are not Christian, even if you are not a religious person, if you are in New York, you must go visit that church and stay there. Going there int he early afternoon (around 1pm-2pm) is best because the Organist often rehearses there, and the music and sound is fantastic. I am not a religious person at all, but i personally go there from time to time
, pick up a book, and just sit there for 30mn to an hour at a time. I love that place, and is definitely one of my favorite Church in the world.
